“The Oxford Medical College Walkathon on World Health Day “

WORLD HEALTH DAY CELEBRATION APRIL 7TH 2025

On the occasion of World Health Day, The Oxford Medical College Hospital and Research Centre students of 2nd MBBS under the ages of Department of Community Medicine organized a walkathon at Attibele town with the theme “ Healthy beginnings Hopeful Future”. The event aimed to raise awareness among the public with the emphasis on Maternal and Child well-being.

The faculty members, PGs, Interns and students with Healthcare workers enthusiastically participated in Walkathon along with Police personnel by carrying placards and spreading key messages on safe Motherhood, Nutrition and Immunization. The walkathon received strong support from the local community and highlighted the Oxford Medical College’s commitment on promoting public health and community care.
