Medical Education Unit
The Oxford Medical college, Hospital and Research Centre has been established with the permission of the GOI under section 10A of IMC Act, 1956 and affiliation of the RGUHS form the academic year 2015-16. Medical Education Unit (MEU) as a part of academics and clinical activities was constituted.

The committee shall meet at frequent intervals at Ė least once in Two months to formulate the following schemes and programs:

  1. Faculty Development through orientation and refresher training programs.
  2. Development of teaching resources like books , charts, models and PowerPoint presentations including adoption of innovative teaching methodology.
  3. Organizing continuing Medical Education / Professional Development / lifelong learning programs.
  4. Providing Expert guidance by Principal, Dean , Resource person, Senior Faculty.
  5. Conduct of regular clinical Meetings at monthly intervals on multiple subject topics beneficial to different specialties stratum of medical and paramedical staff.
  6. Organizing debates, seminars , conferences, workshops, symposiums on the topics of health care , preventive diseases, surveillance programs.
  7. Hosting of publication by faculty on the college Website.
  8. Sponsoring the faculty to attend training programs held by MCI.
  9. All members of MEU have been trained at MCI recognised regional centre St Johnís Medical College for Revised Basic Course in Medical Education Technology Workshop, AETCOM & Advanced Course in Medical Education.(ACME).
  10. Mentoring- All part graduate teachers are actively involved in mentoring the students.
